The Housing Authority of Portland is finishing a HOPE VI grant application in hopes of redeveloping the Hillsdale Terrace low-income housing complex.

Emphasizing neighborhood connectivity, green building and community support services, the new submission aims to make Hillsdale Terrace an asset for both its residents and its neighbors.

Hillsdale Terrace is the third HOPE VI project pursued by HAP. New Columbia, in Northeast Portland’s Portsmouth neighborhood, and Humboldt Gardens near North Alberta Street, are currently in operation.
