The non-profit Habitat for Humanity Portland/Metro East was awarded a $300,000 grant.

Meyer Memorial Trust awarded the money over two years, to help fund Habitat’s new Neighborhood Revitalization Initiative in northeast Portland’s Cully neighborhood.

The Neighborhood Revitalization Initiative is Habitat’s five-year focus in Cully. The Meyer Memorial Trust funds will be used to build 21 new homes at Northeast 64th Avenue and Killingsworth Street, and provide staff to support the new home repair program, which the non-profit says is growing fast.
