Retail and Restaurant
The Redd campus landed a big name tenant. FoodCorps announced it will move into the Ecotrust’s The Redd, which aimed at building a local food economy. FoodCorps helps provide healthy food to school children.
Portland is losing two more restaurants, as Big Ass Sandwiches and Natural Selection announced closures this week. Big Ass had been open for seven years, while Natural Selection — a popular vegan restaurant — will relocate to Hood River.
The Suttle Lodge and Boathouse in Sisters is holding a job fair, seeking 50 new staff members. The job fair runs from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. today, at Fir Street Park in Sisters.
Revolving Door
Thomas Henneberry will join Zidell Yards as Chief Operating Officer. Henneberry has a COO background; he working at Forest City and as a real estate consultant at Henneberry & Associates.
