Smartwaiver co-founder and CEO Mark Silliman will make way for new executives after his company secured investment.

Tod Bloxham, of Tacoma, will take over as CEO of the Bend-based firm.

Silliman wrote that Bloxham has more than 20 years of experience in the outdoor industry. Ted Knudsen, who according to the post has handled programming for a mix of startups and established companies, will take over as chief technology officer.

Smartwaiver, founded in Bend in 2012, digitizes existing liability waivers for convenient use by both companies and participants. The company exceeded 7 million signed waivers earlier in 2015, and has worked with clients ranging from local yoga studios to the National Football League.
