North Rim Brewing signs a distribution contract with Bigfoot Beverages.

The craft brewery industry in Bend adds another success story, as North Rim Brewing recently announced it is expanding production.
The two-person company has signed a distribution contract with Bigfoot Beverages.
The brewery has been on hiatus for the last several months while [owner Bruce] Stevens prepared for increased production. That included installation recently of a new, 14-by-24-foot cooler to store kegs of beer. That’s a huge asset, and one the brewery needed in order to satisfy a distributor. Until it signed a distribution contract six weeks ago, North Rim distributed its beer on its own to local growler stations and bars and restaurants, Stevens said.

Stevens’ started as a drilling and blasting contractor before getting into beer, and one of his most notable projects was for 10 Barrel Brewing when the bigger brand expanded.
He said in the Bulletin’s article: “10 Barrel helped pay for this.”
