An Ohio private equity firm has made another hotel purchase in Eugene.
After buying the Valley River Inn a couple months ago, Rockbridge bought the downtown Hilton for $44.25 million.
The properties are the two largest Eugene hotels by room count: Hilton Eugene has 269 rooms, while Valley River Inn has 257 rooms. Both feature large conference centers.
Rockbridge appears to have acquired a majority ownership in the building while allowing its former owner, Atlanta-based Davidson Hotels & Resorts, to stay on as Hilton Eugene’s manager, a credit agreement shows.
