When Timberline opens for the 2015/16 winter season, skiers will have two new food outlets to choose from, in addition to the five existing restaurants. The Wy’East Café is replacing the Black Iron Grill in the Wy’East Day Lodge. In collaboration with Skylab Architecture and Lorentz Bruun Construction, this million dollar remodel is designed to appeal to active skiers and snowboarders with a variety of convenient, healthy, and hearty options. Food stations include burritos and bowls, pizza and pasta, burgers, and a fry bar in addition to a healthy grab-n-go section with sandwiches and salads. The Market Café has been renamed Y’ Bar, to include a higher capacity and better customer service. Ski in – ski out food service will be located on-hill at the Phlox Point Boy Scout Cabin. This historic cabin has been remodeled into a warming hut offering street tacos and beverages.
