PakTech, a canned-beverage-holder maker, bought more land in Eugene to ramp up production.

The company bought property across the street from its existing facility but needs the city of Eugene to annex its purchased parcel.

Annexation would be necessary if PakTech wanted to hook up to city water services. The site is currently part of the Junction City Water Control District, according to county property records.

A map filed with the city shows “future facilities” would cover the eastern half of the long, roughly rectangular lot, extending north to an additional lot PakTech bought in December for $294,000.
