Portland’s NBA team receives middling results in recent study measuring the last 10 years.

The Pittsburgh Business Times conducted the study measuring pro sports teams’ relative levels of success.

The Trail Blazers were 63rd of all 122 pro sports teams and 17th of the 30 NBA teams.

The Business Times crunched 10 years of statistics — winning percentage, playoff appearances and championship titles were the metrics used — for the teams in the four major professional sports. The franchises are then ranked based on an overall score that measures how much better or worse a team performed compared to the averages for each metric.
