After an hours long protest of a SE Portland house slated for demolition, the man climbed down and will not be arrested.

The home had been vacant since July and squatters moved in soon after, according to neighbors. Multnomah County property records show the home was built in 1909 and sold for $900,000 in July. The front porch of the home appeared to have already been demolished and laid in a pile of wood and rubble in the yard.
