Little Big Burger has been sold to Chanticleer Holdings, the owner of Hooters.
The Charlotte, N.C.-based company aims to scale the popular burger chain that originated in Portland.
“We have an audience in Seattle,” [restaurateur Micah] Camden said. “People in Seattle come to Portland to eat. People from Portland go to Seattle to eat. And Seattle doesn’t have a burger concept like ours. It’s the next logical market.”
The deal will free up Camden and [Katie] Poppe to focus on their other restaurant concepts, which include Blue Star Donuts, Son of a Biscuit, Boxer Ramen and Hop Dog.
