Amazon has been desperately trying to compete with NetflixNFLX -4.96% for the streaming content market. For the most part, it’s been running a distant second. A recent survey by Qwilt showed that in the past year Amazon’s market share has grown from 0.6% to 3%, but it’s still small compared to Netflix which accounts for 57.5% of all online video streaming.
