We’ve charted the business community’s nonprofit support for the past four years, and this year we find support for board membership and earmarking profits for charities have decreased over the past year. But other kinds of support have grown significantly — from 9% last year to 28% this year. Businesses are finding ways to support nonprofits that fit their resources. Overall support is holding steady. Responses were provided by 552 Oregon Business readers in an online survey conducted in late August by research partner CFM Strategic Communications.
