Dice reports the average worker’s earnings jumped from $84,295 in 2013 to $91,556 last year.
Portland Business Journal reported on the tech job website’s findings:
Since 2008, tech workers have seen their pay rise by 18 percent, according to Dice. The survey found the average U.S. tech worker pulled in $89,450, a boost of 2 percent over 2013. Not surprisingly the highest paychecks were in Silicon Valley were tech workers earned an average of $112,610, which is up 4 percent year-over-year.
The second highest paid workers are in Seattle where the average salary grew 5 percent to $99,423.
