The majority of the company’s investors are from Oregon, said co-founder and President David Shear. Many are from the Eugene area, though the company also has one large investor in California and a few in Texas.
SheerID was founded four years ago and its products have been on the market for the last three years. The company has 27 employees and more than 120 clients. Current client brands include Amazon.com, Foot Locker and Spotify.
