The company will provide steel fabrication work for the $4.5 billion Transbay Transit Center.

The project itself, one of the Western U.S.’s largest transit projects, is expected to provide 7,000-plus jobs, including new positions at Oregon Iron Works.

An announcement about the winning contract didn’t include the bid amount. The agreement is contracted under Skanska USA.
