The regional transit agency abandoned its plans to build a facility on NE Lombard Street.
“Instead, we are researching less expensive options that may be a better fit for all involved,” TriMet said in a Sept. 25 press release.
“We continue to look for an alternative location for layovers that remain at NE Ainsworth, and anticipate all weekday layovers will be in a new location sometime in 2015,” TriMet says.
