Rear’s Manufacturing plans to move to Coburg and invest in a $20 million expansion.

Rear’s has signed a lease, with an option to buy, a 335,797-square-foot building — the biggest building at the former Monaco Coach complex, now known as Coburg North.

The company, which was founded in 1949 by Rear’s grandfather and two great-uncles, makes equipment such as fertilizer and pesticide sprayers and flail mowers — big mowers for cutting grass and chopping up prunings used by vineyards and fruit and nut orchards — for a national market.
