The families who own the Seneca Family of Companies and Freres Timber Inc. donated a combined $150,000 to Republican Rep. Dennis Richardson’s campaign.
The recent donations aren’t Richardson’s first from timber interests.
Last year, Stimson Lumber gave Richardson $20,000 in October before the primary election. The Portland company’s CEO, Andrew Miller, is a big Republican donor whose name Richardson provided when he announced he would run for the Republican nomination.
