Hiring rapidly, Squarespace’s Portland work force has grown to 50 just six months after it arrived. Those workers are currently in temporary quarters leased from the Portland Development Commission in the agency’s Old Town building.
Squarespace plans to move into the Spalding Building, at Southwest Third and Washington, late this year. It has 50 Portland employees now and is leasing enough room to accommodate three times that number — with an option to lease additional space if growth continues.
