The Portland-based online technology education startup, Girls Inc. and ChickTech will launch Change the Ratio, a program aimed at inspiring girls into career paths in technology.
This is the latest piece of the company’s goal to broaden the base of tech workersin Oregon and nationally. In June, the company launched a bold initiative to train 10,000 Oregon workers with tech skills.
Treehouse intends to expand that program to other states as part of the broader national Code-to-Work initiative, which aims to train 150,000 workers nationwide.
