The former girlfriend of the Portland tech leader filed a civil lawsuit seeking nearly $3.3 million in damages from the alleged assaults.

Kveton, who co-founded the nationally known local tech firm Urban Airship, stepped down from his post as chief executive after The Oregonian reported in July that Portland Police were investigating the woman’s allegations.

Police records and hundreds of pages of texts, emails and online chats provided by Kveton’s accuser to police and The Oregonian show that the pair had a highly physical and volatile relationship. They broke up and reunited multiple times, even amid the allegations, including a restraining order the woman obtained – and later rescinded – in 2010.
