The City of Salem Council Subcommittee is pondering regulations for medical marijuana dispensaries.

In a reflection of attitudes about marijuana becoming a legal medicine, subcommittee members have contrasting views on how tightly the clinics should be regulated.

“We see the current political climate, if not supporting us, isn’t pushing back,” said Nole Bullock, operator of Cherry City Compassion, a medical marijuana dispensary, and part the city subcommittee.
