The company (NYSE: CAG) said the effort will add 130 jobs as it boosts its French fry and other frozen potato product lines.
The 192,000-square-foot addition will allow ConAgra Foods Lamb Weston to operate five production lines in two plants. The company is one of the largest employers in the region: Its seven facilities employ 750 workers in Boardman and 500 in nearby Hermiston.
