CTL unveiled its Education Chromebook, designed for the K-12 education market.

The Chromebook is a laptop designed using specs from Intel and Google’s Chrome operating system and applications. CTL took the designs and made them rugged for use in schools.

Reaction to the new product has been strong, said CTL Chief Operating Officer Erik Stromquist. The company has already logged 4,000 pre-sale units to Oregon schools.
