Members of Portland State University’s faculty union have agreed to strike if union leaders call for a strike.
Voting by the approximately 900 dues-paying members of the union on Tuesday and Wednesday showed that 94 percent of them authorized a strike, union officials said early Thursday.
The strike, if it happens, would be the first in the history of Oregon universities.
