The Boise Cascade warehouse in downtown Salem is converting into a private real estate development.
By spring 2015, apartment residents could be moving into the converted warehouse, which is across the street from city hall.
“The project is being positioned so it has broad appeal from students, to singles, to double-income-no-kids,” said Jason Tokarski, vice president of Mountain West Investment, developer of the Boise site. “I even suspect there will be a few families.”
