A creative office development proposed at the Burnside Bridgehead by Guerrilla Development Co. has reached its crowdfunding goal.
Guerrilla Development Co. sought an unusual source of financing for its highly unusual building at 333 E. Burnside, called The Dumbbell. It’s seeking up to $2 million in backing for the $8.5 million project through the website Fundrise, a micro-investing platform for real estate.
The offering asked potential investors to indicate their interest in a “testing the waters” phase. That’s because the offering doesn’t yet have approval from state and federal regulators to make an offering.
