Hillsboro-based TriQuint Semiconductor again has a chip in Apple’s new iPhone.

TriQuint makes specialized communications chips at its fab in Hillsboro and has had a component in the iPhone since the iPhone 3G, five years ago.

In its teardown, iFixit identified the TriQuint TQM6M6224 in the iPhone 5s and in the new, second-tier 5c, along with wireless components from TriQuint rivals Avago and Skyworks.
