Oregon Business magazine has named the first annual 100 Best Nonprofits to Work for in Oregon. The rankings were revealed Tuesday night in a sold-out event at the Portland Art Museum, along with the October issue of the magazine, which spotlights the winners and the nonprofit sector.
Second Fulbright of 2009 Awarded to a Pacific Student
Danielle Phillips, who graduated in May with a degree in Modern Languages with an emphasis in Spanish and a minor in music, has been awarded an English Teaching Assistantship through the Fulbright Scholar Program.

For most of the years, CCI built its business and reputation by employing one to two people to develop software for Oregon cities and counties. Five years ago, founder Richard Chaves decided that he wanted to create jobs for Baker County citizens through diversifying what CCI delivers.

OREGON BUSINESS has been named one of the top three business-to-business magazines in the country, under 80,000 circulation, by the American Society of Business Publication Editors, in one of the largest business publication competitions in the U.S.
