Eugene-based Mattress Mania expands to Corvallis, with an eye on expanding nationally.
Owner Lance Miles said that although times are tough, he thinks that the recession presents opportunities to expand in order to prepare for the recovery to come.
“When times are tough, when everybody’s got their heads in their shells, that’s the time to spread your wings,” the company’s general manager, Brian Coke, said.
One of the opportunities presented by the recession, Coke said, is that “right now, people are giving away lease space.”
