The City Council and the District Council of Trade Unions announced a tentative agreement on a four-year contract.

“These are a lot of our front-line workers: the people you see when the city is out doing some of our most vital work,” Mayor Charlie Hales said in a release. “I’m thrilled that the council and the city have come to agreement. This is good news for the workers in the affiliate unions, but also good news for every Portland resident.”
