A group of Forest Grove business owners created Shop Local Tuesdays.
“It began as an idea to network among local business owners,” said Becky Kramer, owner of Urban Decanter wine shop. After talking with artist Helvi Smith, who has a studio on Elm Street, and Kristin Ling, who owns A Framer’s Touch, the women launched a Shop Local Tuesday Facebook page.
Participating businesses will offer sales, discounts, giveaways and raffles every Tuesday, starting this week.
