Two Portland companies are teaming up to create a cargo bike called the “CarGoAway” that eliminates the need for a car.

Dave Levy has been making high-end titanium and steel bikes for about 30 years. His latest creation, the CarGoAway, consists of 90 percent American-made material. And most of that is actually made in Portland.

Its electric motor is made by Portland’s Eco-Speed and enables the bike to travel up to 20 miles per hour with a 200-pound load.
