New Seasons announced it will have a store in Tualatin’s Nyberg Rivers shopping center. It will be its farthest store from Portland.
The 33,532-square-foot grocery store will be built where a vacant K-Mart currently stands, between Michael’s and a future Cabela’s. The shopping center is off of the Southwest Tualatin-Sherwood Road exist on Interstate 5.
That location serves as a prime gateway to Oregon’s wine and agricultural land, the company’s leaders said. The store in Tualatin, expected to open Fall 2014, will be similar to most New Seasons stores and will include a wine bar, said New Seasons Chief Operating Officer Pat Brown.
