Legacy Health is giving patients vouchers to spend at a pop-up local and organic food store.

Anitra Bolivar, who has diabetes, on Tuesday left her doctor appointment and stopped at the grocery to spend $15 in vouchers. A full sack of food cost $16.80, leaving her with a $1.80 bill for mangoes, baby carrots, berries and bread. Now instead of snacking on chips, Bolivar says, she’ll munch on those baby carrots.
