John Davey, the primary representative of River Roofing, said heat waves such as the one Lane County has been enduring require precautions, primarily water, water and more water.
While Davey said his roof crews generally do OK, last year one of his employees did suffer heat exhaustion.
Danny Hatten at Hatten Roofing & Construction in Eugene said the hottest part of the year is also the busiest season for roofers.
