Salem-based Western Tool Supply was sold to a Nebraska company.
Western Tool has supplied tools and related products to contractors. It had 14 locations in Oregon, Washington, Idaho, Montana and Utah at the time of the acquisition.
Carlson Systems and Western Tool have supplied similar products to the construction industry. The purchase of Western Tool will provide Carlson Systems with greater buying power and expand its business into the Pacific Northwest.
