Oregon’s bridges were ranked seventh best in the nation by a new report.

According to the study, released Wednesday by the advocacy coalition Transportation for America, Oregon moved up two notches from a similar study in 2011.

The new report pegged Oregon’s share of structurally deficient bridges at 5.7 percent, compared with 6.3 percent two years ago. The national figure is 11 percent, down from 11.5 percent.
