PeaceHealth’s four Lane County hospitals have changed their names, in a “subtle but significant” move.

The name changes reflect the breadth of services the nonprofit organization offers and the common mission throughout the PeaceHealth system, it said in announcing the change.

PeaceHealth, a Catholic-­sponsored health care system based in Vancouver, Wash., is the main health care provider in Lane County. With about 4,700 full-time-equivalent employees, it is one of the largest employers in Lane County.
