Sherwood City Manager Joe Gall’s proposed budget eliminates two positions and reduces the general fund.

Although no specific city program cuts are expected, this marks a third year in a row the city has cut jobs. For the upcoming year, an administrative assistant in public works and an engineering associate will be eliminated, said Finance Director Craig Gibons.

The proposed total budget for 2013-14 is $40.9 million, and the proposed general fund is $9.7 million. Last year, the total budget was $44.2 million.
