Providence Health & Services named Dave Underriner its new CEO for the Oregon region.
In his new post, Underriner will oversee 17,500 employees including at eight hospitals, all Providence-affiliated medical clinics as well as home health services. Previously, he served as Providence’s chief operating officer for Oregon, and before that held a string of posts with the nonprofit health care provider over the course of 28 years.
