The team has hired a Los Angeles firm specializing in such deals and Blazers officials say they are unburdened by any approaches attempted that may have been attempted since the previous effort was launched in December 2007.
A new name might be in place on the arena by the start of the 2013-14 season, team president Chris McGowan said Monday.
