Eugene’s largest recreational vehicle dealer RV Corral is increasing its land holdings by 70%.

[After the recession], RV Corral is back in expansion mode. It has acquired a neighboring 3.5-acre lot at 3690 Dove Lane from Dorsey Ventures for $750,000, increasing RV Corral’s acreage by about 70 percent. And it is fitting out more service bays on part of the new property, previously used as storage for Bethel School District buses. In the not-too-­distant future, [cofounder Jerry] McCall said, RV Corral will expand its sales area.

“We’ve had our eye on that piece of property for a long time,” he said, and the owner finally decided to sell. McCall said the time seemed right for expansion. In the past couple of years, sales of RVs have started to pick up, and service and body work is booming, he said.
