Lisa Schwartz has been named director of the Oregon Department of Energy.
Lisa Schwartz will lead the 120-employee department charged with implementing the state’s new 10-Year energy Action Plan, which outlines a road map for improving energy efficiency and clean energy infrastructure.
Schwartz has 25 years of experience in the energy sector. Most recently she was a senior associate at the Regulatory Assistance Project, a global nonprofit, where she advised states on clean energy programs. In addition, she worked with the Western Governors’ Association on renewable energy and transmission initiatives.
