The state’s general fund is about $14 billion in the current 2011-13 budget cycle and is projected to grow to about $15.5 billion for the next budget.
State economists are delivering the quarterly economic and revenue forecast for the state. Today’s numbers will become the baseline for Gov. John Kitzhaber’s proposed 2013-15 budget, which he plans to release Nov. 30.
