Cascade Energy is launching a web-based software for tracking energy efficiency at industrial facilities.

The Portland-based company will unveil Sensei at the World Energy Engineering Congress in Atlanta.

“This is not just energy monitoring,” said Dan Brown, Cascade Energy’s vice president of product development. “This is for tracking all the actions you have to do to cut down on energy use.”

It’s the first product for 20-year-old Cascade Energy, the anchor tenant for Portland’s Burnside Bridgehead project, which has built its business offering energy efficiency engineering and program management services for industrial clients. In 2011, the company landed a large contract to service 132 Americold locations. Other customers include Kroger and Sysco.
