The Portland Streetcar will open its new Central Loop line to the public this weekend.
The line…will connect to the streetcar’s current line (now titled the North/South line) in the Pearl District and will have stops in the Rose Quarter, Lloyd District, the Central Eastside Industrial District and OMSI.
The $148 million project is expected to improve transportation accessibility and spur development in certain areas of the city’s eastside, according to city officials.
