Portland Community College’s Small Business Development Center wants to help more small Oregon businesses enter the export market.

The center is offering a 10-month international trade program that includes 30 hours of classroom training and 20 hours of one-on-one confidential advising with professionals. Training topics include marketing, logistics, finance and cross-cultural awareness.

Nearly 5,000 Oregon companies are in the export market, selling more than $17.5 billion annually in goods and services.
