California nonprofit Mozilla, makers of the Firefox web browser, wants to open a Portland office.

A small group of employees have been working since early this year out of the Collective Agency co-working space on Northwest Sixth Avenue in the Pearl District. An April blog post described as many as a dozen Mozillans working from the space (with only a few on site at any given time).

“We continue to actively look for a more permanent space in the city as we assess our growth needs and our vibrant Portland Mozilla community of talented contributors,” a Mozilla spokesman [says].
